Second Skin




Our bodies extend beyond the skin—into fabrics, objects, and air—through invisible organisms that inhabit us and everything we touch.

Second Skin is a series of ten bacterial perfumes, each distilled from the scent of a body part and its closest environment. These olfactory portraits reveal an intimate ecology: the microbial life that lingers between flesh and surface, self and surrounding.

In tracing what cannot be seen but is always present, Second Skin invites us to reconsider the body not as a boundary, but as a field of ongoing negotiation.
